We end a fantastic year for VP with a stunning selection of remixes for you of the Bemannte & Bruder hit from last year. Our last release for 2022 features an old face and two new ones from our ever growing roster of talent . In This bumper Christmas pack we remixes from One already in the VP family Sergi Vilas form the UK and the two newbies are Luze from Ukraine and Michael King from Australia. The original of "Driving" was released in October 2021 by the Irish duo who then went on the drop one of our biggest hits "Freedom Day" in the early part of this year. So we thought it a great to round of this our best year so far revisiting the single with fresh we ears.
We welcome back Sergio Vilas already part of the V&P tribe, we thought it time we get him in the embellish a remix with his indicative lush sound and the results are stunning. His music is always uplifting and full of lush big chords progressions which is always a winner in our books. This time slowly climbing higher and higher the vocal is lifted to the mountain top and placed crying out for all to hear. Dropping off in to driving arpeggiated grooves reminiscent of "Cosmology" & "A Night in Paris" which he previously released with us and pin pointing his music above the crowd.
Luze has been doing his thing for our good friends on Stripped Recordings since 2014 and has been hitting the rader for us with his remixes for some of the V&P crew, including NELIN's "Monologue" & DARKERSOUND's "Find The Secret" both being epic reworks.
This talented DJ / Producer hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. USA has also dropped some great original music with his tracks "Polaris" & "Fugo" from last year and his awesome "Show Me The Way which showcase his talent perfectly and was featured on the recent Snapshot 00:13 compilation from the same label. This is why we decided ask him to drop a remix for us of driving and we were not disappointing at all. Super deep and heads down music is what we call it with big baselines, spaced out stabs, grinding drones with a touch of breaks he has turned the track on its head but without losing the essence of the track, which is Driving music. We are very excited to have him on our imprint and work more closely in the future.
Michael King has been producing since 2009 and his music is a blend of Afro, House, Progressive house and Melodic House & Techno, he has already been on some disgusted labels with Blaq Diamond Boyz Music, Electric Friends Music, Stripped Recordings, Clap records and Baroque Records which have already introduced this talent DJ / Producer from Australia to the world. We have brought him on board to bring the imprint and this remix pack because we love his music and he has delivered to us a stunning melodic house & Techno flavor to the release.
The remix is full of grumbling energy from the start which then expands and opens up into reveal beautiful piano lead breakdown with some serious atmosphere.
This builds to bring in big melodic pads full of lush reverb. The creation hits its peak by dropping back in to the deep bass effects that identify and hint to the original release.
We are super grateful to all the artist for bringing there distinct style and energy to make our final release for 2022 such a big bang to round off what has been a fantastic year for Voodoo & Prayers.
